Donations
Donate by Phone:
You can call our office and make a credit card donation over the phone by speaking with a member of our staff. Phone us at: (416) 499-2185.
Donate by Mail:
Send us a cheque payable to “Evergreen Hospice” to the address: Evergreen Hospice, 201-5762 Hwy 7 East, Markham, Ontario, L3P 1A8.
Donate in person

Donate Online:
Canadahelps.org accepts donations on our behalf. We will be charged 3.75% on donations using this link. Receipts are emailed to you right away. You can also donate using the Paypal button. Paypal charges us 1.6%+$0.30 on funds sent to us through their form. A receipt will be mailed to you at a later date from Evergreen.

Donate Securities
Complete the Gift of Securities Form and fax it to both numbers listed at the bottom of the page (Evergreen’s Broker, and to our main office.) Evergreen will receipt donations of securities according to Revenue Canada rules.

Fundraise For Us
If you are looking for a way to support Evergreen, why not consider making your own fundraiser? Organizing your own fundraiser can not only be incredibly fun but also rewarding. The funds you raise will help Evergreen support those in our community coping with a life-threatening illness, caregiving or grief.
How you raise the funds is completely up to you, so you can be as creative as you like and organize any type of event, big or small! We have provided you with some tips and ideas below, but feel free to make your fundraiser your own. We are here to support you every step of the way, so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch on kkipling@evgcares.org
Volunteer
Evergreen would not exist without the efforts of all our volunteers. Evergreen is a dynamic organization providing many different programs with minimal staff.
There are almost 80 volunteers who give time, expertise and passion to Evergreen, either on a consistent weekly basis throughout the year or at a yearly event giving their time in a short block. We need you all!

Empathy Bear
Buy and donate an Empathy Bear to a Bereaved Child
A donation of $50 will help a child in your community dealing with grief and loss. Each child will receive a special empathy bear (pictured here) and an initial assessment session where one of Evergreen’s caring counsellors will develop a personalized care plan.
These bears help children cope with their feelings:

Donate Your Car
Evergreen is now accepting Vehicle Donations through Donate a Car Canada. They provide free towing in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation.
When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Evergreen Hospice through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location).
Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Evergreen Hospice to benefit.
After your vehicle donation is complete, we will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use.
